There's also deer tracks near the edge of the driveway. Of course, this could just mean Cashew lives way out in the middle of nowhere and needs to reach civilization before cabin fever sets in or something. XD

Why do I not have a "I covet" icon? But whatever.

(Although the GameSpot commentators are totally ruining the experience here. Considering that their job - as in they get paid for this shit - is to know a wide base of games well enough to give insightful commentary, they are utter fail. Also, don't review Japanese version of games if you can't read the Japanese. GS really needs to employ more knowledgeable people.)

Fuck you, fanboy. Lightning rocks, even if her weapon is a gunblade. She wields a Swiss army weapon of doom and uses bazookas on flying monsters, that makes her cool. And also, she kicks butt, so shut the fuck up.

GT, you are a professional games news website. At least put some fucking effort into separating the video and audio tracks in your "walkthrough" videos. If I can do it in WMM, you have no excuse for having crappy recording with five different game music drowning out your "reporter". Seriously.

Winter is finally here. I'm not sure I should be happy and I'm pretty sure I'll be sick of the snow very, very soon. But in the meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy it before I start shoveling. @_@

After googling for a casual rpg to fill in the void of finishing KoL turns suboptimally, I realized that other than KoL, there's actually very little in the ways of casual rpg. This got me thinking as to why, and with more reading into the subject, it seems that game developers are all stuck on the same problem:

So, in the few days that I've been playing around with Windows 7, I've noticed one very significant problem.

It's update center is complete utter fail. While it's good at updating on time, the Windows 7 update for whatever reason drains resources so much that even opening another window may accidentally cause the entire system to stall. This is...not good. XP was far, far more robust in handling excess multi-tasking when it came to installing updates and does a far better job of staying in the background, instead of this stalling bullshit. Twice, I've had to restart the computer due to update installation stalling the machine. So far, I've only received update notices twice.

Clearly, patches need to be out ASAP.

First, icon bases for tanithryudo. Take 'em and do what you will. This would have been a lot less painful if you requested someone's bored face other than Conan's, because apparently screencappers aren't very interested in taking "bored Conan" screencaps and I'm not searching through days worth of my DC archive to find 'em. :p
